KSA Senior Sales Executive - Social Media

Introduction:

DMS is on the brink of a major announcement: we have secured the MENA representation rights for a globally leading social media/discovery platform. To leverage this exciting new partnership, we are establishing a dedicated sales team, which includes the pivotal role of Senior Sales Executive.

Job Purpose:

The Senior Sales Executive will play a crucial role in supporting the wider team and driving the sales strategy across various clients and agencies within multiple industries. This role focuses on fostering relationships with mid to junior level agency planners and crafting customized business solutions that monetize our media properties effectively and meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the assigned brands and their market dynamics.
  • Innovate and contribute to business solutions that drive client growth and platform revenue.
  • Identify market-driven opportunities to boost business growth.
  • Develop and execute compelling sales strategies based on thorough market knowledge.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets by cultivating partnerships with clients and agencies.
  • Stay abreast of new KPI metrics and ensure alignment with client objectives.
  • Capitalize on market trends and seasonal opportunities to boost revenue.
  • Communicate product updates and industry best practices to clients and agencies.
  • Collaborate across teams (Publisher, Client, Product, CRM, etc.) to ensure cohesive workflow and campaign success.
  • Utilize planning and reporting tools to enhance client propositions and contribute to weekly portfolio reviews.
  • Work closely with the CRM team and Account Managers to monitor and ensure campaign effectiveness.
  • Develop and share successful case studies within the industry.

Additional Duties:

  • Keep updated with changes in media and technology landscapes.
  • Manage weekly pipeline data submissions and participate in quarterly revenue meetings.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • University degree in any field (passion for the digital industry is a must).
  • At least 5 years of experience in the media industry with a strong focus on social media.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Enthusiasm for social media platforms with essential marketing experience.
  • Communication and analytical skills.
  • Proven project management and sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and presentation.
  • Basic understanding of the media landscape.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
  • Capable of analyzing numerical data for budgeting, forecasting, and trend analysis.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and complex situations.
