Senior Sales Executive - Social


   DMS will soon be announcing that we have been awarded MENA representation for one of the world’s leading social media/discovery platforms. A dedicated sales team will be created including the below role.

 The Senior Sales Executive role across the Platform, will be to support his/her director across a set of clients/agencies across industries. It involves building relationships with mid to junior level agency planners in relation to the assigned agency/client list. It requires creating tailored business solutions in order to monetize the media properties and hit targets. 

  • Build a solid understanding of the assigned brands and their category dynamics.
  • Contribute to the development of business solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate growth for the business.
  • Leverage their market knowledge to create persuasive sales strategies.
  • Drive revenue for the Platform by seeking partnerships with various clients/agencies.
  • Understand new and relevant KPI metrics requirements aligned and set with the client.
  • Prospect opportunities based on seasonality and market requirements to drive incremental revenue.
  • Ensure finalized revenue goals are met or exceeded as set by the Director.
  • Update clients on products and developments and educate clients and agencies on best practices.
  • Research and analyze industry trends, seeking opportunities to bridge gaps in business objectives, pushing the business forward to exceed financial targets.
  • Ensure to take a collaborative working approach with other units ie Publisher, Client, Product, CRM etc.
  • Able to use planning and reporting tools to deliver better value proposition to clients and contribute to weekly report on the portfolios current standing.
  • In partnership with the CRM team and Account managers, ensure campaign is on track and performing as per objectives.
  • Create successful case studies and circulating in the market.


  • Keep up to date on media and technology landscape changes
  • Submit weekly pipeline data and attend quarterly revenue meetings



 A. Education/Experience:

  • University degree in any field of study as long as there’s a strong degree of passion to join the digital industry.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the media industry with a focus on social media

C. Ability/Skills: 

  • Language Skills: Full ability to read, analyze, and interpret briefs, market reports and research in the English language, knowledge of Arabic language is an advantage.
  • Numerical Skills: Ability to analyze and understand mathematical data related to budget, sales, forecasting, research and trends.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems/ opportunities, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
