Role Summary:

The Account Management Lead will oversee the Pinterest Account Management team, ensuring operational excellence, client satisfaction, and revenue growth. You will manage Account Managers directly, act as the strategic escalation point for clients, and work with leadership on developing the team into a multi-platform hub.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Supervise and support Account Managers in managing daily client requests and platform needs.
• Review campaign delivery across the team and ensure alignment with client goals.
• Attend key client calls, especially for high-priority or strategic accounts.
• Act as point of escalation for issues requiring strategic or technical resolution.
• Review performance across accounts managed by the team and identify risks or upsell opportunities.
• Conduct weekly 1:1s or stand-ups with Account Managers.
• Ensure consistent documentation, client comms, and platform practices across the team.
• Support onboarding and training of new account managers on Pinterest platform capabilities.
• Lead QBR preparations and participate in strategic client presentations.
• Partner with the Director to plan team resourcing and account assignments.
• Analyze account retention, performance trends, and team KPIs to improve efficiency.
• Liaise with Ad Tech and Ad Ops Leads to align workflows and improve client experience.
  
  

Strategic Responsibilities: 

• Build frameworks and SOPs for onboarding, campaign planning, client success, and QBRs.
• Help expand the team’s scope beyond Pinterest as other platforms are added.
• Stay updated on platform changes, trends, and product updates and share with the team.

Skills & Experience:

• 5–7 years of experience in account management or client strategy roles.
• Strong understanding of Pinterest, or similar ad platforms, and measurement tools.
• Proven leadership experience with cross-functional collaboration.
• Comfortable mentoring and leading junior team members.
• Excellent communication and strategic thinking abilities.
