With 17 plus years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, media management and digital media strategy across the Middle East, Fahed serves as Business Director – KSA at DMS. With a host of previous leadership appointments across notable regional organizations, he also Co-Founded an award winning Mobile Media Network in the MENA region. Fahed furthers his interests in digital media and marketing technologies; strengthening DMS’ relationships with local publishers by developing new monetization streams and positioning DMS as highly progressive enabler of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

What is the biggest challenge within the industry now?
These days, customers jump from channel to channel when making a purchase. They’ll look on brand website, search from mobile devices, or even stop by the store only to buy online later. This is what we call an omnichannel shopper, and they’re entering and confusing every business and industry (not only ours) around the world. It’s a trend that is unlikely to stop soon when digitalization saturates our purchasing behavior.
What motivates you?
What motivates me most is the rapid evolution of the industry that is becoming more scientific by the minute.
What behaviour or personality trait do you most attribute your success to, and why?
Always being “Self-Aware”; and that leads to a constant understanding and knowledge of who I am, that includes my skills, values, interests, behaviors and character.
What advice would you give to your teenage self?
Believe in yourself, and don’t stop being authentic and truthful.
What is the next big trend within the media industry?
Virtual and augmented reality, and location-based services.
